Our Favourite Nasi Lemak in Singapore | The Coconut Club

S U N D A Y S   I N   S I N G A P O R E

Welcome back to our "Sundays in Singapore" series! Today, we're venturing to a place that celebrates the heart and soul of Singaporean cuisine: The Coconut Club!

Tucked away in a restored shophouse on Beach Road (near Haji Lane), The Coconut Club and their delicious Nasi Lemak is the perfect place for a laid-back Sunday lunch, or any day in my humble opinion.

The menu at The Coconut Club is a love letter to coconut. Coconuts are a major player in Southeast Asian cooking, and The Coconut Club puts it front and center. Their menu celebrates heritage dishes, reimagined with a touch of modern finesse and what we love the most is that it's MSG free.

The star of the show, the Nasi Lemak has 2-year-old Jasmine rice, infused with coconut and steamed to perfection; organic chicken, marinated for 12 hours in house-made rempah. There are a bunch of options like the Signature Ayam Goreng Berempah, Beef Rendang, Homemade Otah along with seafood or meatless options. There really is something for everyone.

If you have any space left the deserts don't disappoint. Indulge in a Kueh sampler, Chendol or a Gula Melaka Chiffon Cake.

If you're keen to try it, head over to their website https://www.thecoconutclub.sg/ to see their menu.
