Our bracelets are made from the highest quality Japanese glass beads. For 50 years and 3 generations, they have defined the world standard for beads, used by fashion designers, artists, and makers around the world.
The gold beads are 24k gold plated and needs some special care. Gold plating can wear off with exposure to water, sweat, perfumes, and lotions. Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. Always put your bracelet on last, after perfume or creams have dried.
They can but you will risk the plating coming off the gold and silver beads. If this happens they will turn black.
Yes, our bracelets are crafted using high-quality materials, and they’re made to last. In fact, we’ve been wearing some of our originals for over three years and they’re still going strong.
That said, like all delicate jewellery, they appreciate kindness. While they’ll hold up beautifully to everyday wear, they’re not big fans of getting snagged, caught on bags, or rubbing up against dog leashes (we’ve learned this from experience and from your stories!).
