Samantha Colbert has always been drawn to the way places shape us. Growing up in Sydney, she built a career managing arts, cultural, and community spaces, designing ways for people to experience a deeper sense of belonging, connection, and well-being through the third spaces they share. This multidisciplinary approach to design, blending creativity with community, has been at the heart of everything she’s done, from running a bespoke stationery studio in Hong Kong to crafting her first candles under the brand Rue Colbert in Sydney back in 2010.

More than a brand, it is a celebration of Singapore; a city that has become home, not just to Samantha but to a tapestry of people who have built lives, friendships, and memories here.
