A collaboration between Mandai Wildlife Group and Strait Lights, celebrating some of the remarkable animals with whom we share our world.
From the stripes of the Malayan tiger to the unmistakable black and white of the giant panda, each bracelet takes the colours and markings of an animal and translates them into something you can wear, a small story told through Japanese glass beads and touches of gold.

From wildlife to wearable
At Strait Lights, we have always been interested in the stories held within colour.
Our Strait Scenes collection began by taking photographs of the places around us and turning their palettes into tiny wearable portraits of place.
For our collaboration with Mandai Wildlife Group, we turned our gaze to the natural world.
Instead of streetscapes, we looked at stripes, feathers, scales and fur. The warm russet of an orangutan. The golden crescent of a sun bear. The straw-coloured crown of a tiny songbird. The extraordinary graphic markings of a tiger.
Each became the starting point for a bracelet.
Portraits of place became portraits of the wild.

Every MANDAI x STRAIT LIGHTS bracelet is handcrafted using Japanese glass beads and 24k gold-plated details.
But how something is made matters to us just as much as how it looks.
