Honey has called Orchard home for the last 8 years. Drawn to the vibrancy, buzz and energy of Singapore's most iconic boulevards, Honey wanted to create a scent that both honours her Persian heritage and embodies the balance of feminine and masculine, old and new by elevating the senses with a blend of classic rose and deep moss.
"I've never been drawn to florals but with Persian heritage, the scent and sacredness of roses has always captivated me. I instantly knew I wanted to use rose to represent the femininity, elegance and luxury of Orchard. Bringing in the masculine woody notes of the moss balanced the scent and draws together both the beauty and bustling boldness of Orchard."
The beauty of Orchard lies in its contradictions. Embodying this, we worked with our scentmaker Honey, to pair the luxury and refinement of rose with a deep earthy moss to encapsulate the balance of feminine and masculine, new and old, chic and cultural. This Singapore candle is rose from stem to petal with fresh green notes balancing the luxe floral.
Orchard is classic Singapore, where the old world charm of Emerald Hill sits juxtaposed against famously futuristic-looking malls. Just like a swan sitting gracefully on lake, it’s underneath where all the action happens. Day or night, the underground maze is constantly buzzing with an energy that only bright lights and city sights can garner. The beauty of Orchard lies in its contradictions. Embodying this, we have paired classic rose anchored by a deep moss to encapsulate the balance of feminine and masculine, new and old, chic and cultural.
