Our bracelets are more than just an accessory. To us, they are a story of craft, community, and empowerment. Our makers are women from low-income families in Singapore and we believe in creating opportunities that enable; providing fair wages, skill development, and flexible work.
Why we're comitted to creating clean candles.
More than a decade ago, our founder, Samantha, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Fueled by a mission to regain her well-being, Sam embarked on a journey to clean up her home and lifestyle. This journey revealed an uncomfortable truth about the chemicals lurking in our home that were linked to health risks.
When Sam started Strait Lights, her priority was to make beautiful candles without the toxins. It was a long journey to find a fragrance company who met these values but the effort paid off. We found a fragrance partner who shares our passion for wellness. They have spent nearly a decade leading the way in creating clean scents, free of phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, and organ or acute toxins.
Because we believe our homes should be a sanctuary.

Strait Lights has collaborated with Vogue featured artist, Fleur Kakasi to create a range of prints and linen teatowels inspired by the neighbourhoods of Singapore. Reimagining Singapore's urban jungle, each piece captures the flora and fauna of its area and is rendered in Fleur's iconic indigo
colour.
The collection of eight unique prints each represent different neighborhoods: Sentosa, Bukit Timah, River Valley, East Coast, West Coast, Holland Village, Tanglin/Dempsey, and Sembawang.
