Hidden Haunt in Holland Village
S U N D A Y S I N S I N G A P O R E
When Ebonie (The Bright Campaign) and I were looking for the location of our next lunch date, we thought we'd try the new(ish) Frankie and Fern's and let me tell you it's not just the name that's delighful. I enjoyed the hidden haunt so much it's landed into our Sundays in Singapore.
Once you find this tucked away gem (scroll down for clues on how to find it) you walk into a light and bright rooftop space with scandi meets midcentury feels. The floor to ceiling shelves are a collection of curated curiousities and brewing kombucha, the furniture and decor is contempory and fresh with a lovely nod to vintage finds.
Their menus are divided into weekday, weekend, and dinner and feature flavor-forward dishes. I couldn’t resist the avocado toast, which looked as good as it tasted, paired with a raspberry lychee spritz made in-house from scratch.
What I love about this rooftop cafe is how the space is designed for conversation and connection. They offer a range of seating options, from small tables perfect for two to long communal tables for groups. It’s an ideal spot to catch up with a friend or ten. The lovely little tree-lined terrace with a thoughtful children’s play space means that if you’re meeting friends, the little ones can be entertained.
Beyond the delicious lunch that was hard to fault, their considered approach to making the space feel homely makes it a welcome addition to the Singapore scene.
