Singapore Shophouse Petain Road Art Print

This painting was inspired by the beautiful shophouses along Petain Road in Jalan Besar, Singapore. These shophouses were built in the early 1930's and have since been restored to showcase their beauty. This row of shophouses on Petain Road has been a favourite of mine since we moved to Singapore. I particularly am fond with the black and white tiles on the floor, the Peranakan tiles on the walls and also the intricate and unique carvings on each of the pillars.
